After earning four Michelin stars in as many years, Salt Partners Group became one of the most respected culinary groups in the world. Their portfolio includes Atelier Crenn, Bar Crenn, Petit Crenn, Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream, Brown Sugar Kitchen and a range of the country’s best bars and restaurants.

The goal of the website design was to create something effective and simple, letting their reputation speak for itself. The site uses subtle scrolling effects and bold typefaces, putting their portfolio at the forefront. You can see it here.

The Story of Salt

The story behind the name ‘Salt’ is simple – it’s an essential ingredient in nearly everything we eat. Salt Partners Group founder, Hanson Li, came to us with an open-ended proposal to expand their story online and elevate the existing branding.

Given that their accolades include three stars for Atelier Crenn, a star for Bar Crenn, and a growing portfolio of the world’s best dining experiences, the challenge was getting out of the way. The site itself focuses on their portfolio, enhancing the experience with high impact colors and typography, as well as subtle animations to emphasize their logo – the Chinese character for salt.
